Juarez Custom Homes was started in 1982 when Rick started building houses in Bastrop County on the weekends and evenings when he wasn’t working his regular job. Back then Rick was a true craftsman, building 90% of the houses with his own hands making him a true master carpenter.

These skills and knowledge were passed down to both of his two sons, Shawn and Jonathan, at a very young age. They could often be found “helping” their dad on weekends doing every small job they could find. As they continued to get older in age, their job responsibilities grew. They would work summers helping on each project, which helped them hone their skills and grow their knowledge of custom home building.

After graduating from Texas A&M in 2008 both boys joined the company full time, turning it into a true family business. With their addition they have been able to take the business to new levels built off the foundation set by Rick. With them now on board, they are available to build not just in Bastrop County but the surrounding central Texas area.
